Blago's hittin' the public relations trail, moseyin' on down to "Good Mornin' 'Merica'" and "Th'View".
He's jus' tryin' to let everyone know that he's like a cowboy that everyone's tryin' to hang without givin' him a fair trial, tha's all. They's jus' mad that ole Blago stood up to the posses of the 'system'.
Hey folks. Just to let you know, until Joe is able to get a new copy up, the episode cuts out with about 5 minutes left, but don't let that stop you from listening to the 52:15 minutes that we already have.

I forgot to mention on the podcast how I learned of this fantastic term, which is that the British Deputy Ambassador Karen Pierce used it at the Security Council to describe Omar Bashir's response to the ICC. That is to say, Bashir's refusal to cooperate with an indictment on his government for genocide was "cocking a snook at the international community."
I think this proves beyond doubt that the British have the most hilarious colloquialisms on earth.
With their fearless leader Ethan Cheng gone on vacation, Joe, Roni and Alec soldier gamely on to deal with Obama’s inauguration, Bush’s legacy, Gaza’s dueling ceasefires, awkward silences and segues, Joe learning how to host (and post) a podcast on the fly, and whether Obama is actually President now. Obscure British slang features prominently.
dwatg_016.mp3I have put a blog entry up over at roniweiss.com continuing my take on the current situation in Gaza, in reference to today's hit on the UNRWA building.
And, as Ethan said, in his stead, feel free to e-mail me with any DWATG inquiries, comments, questions and the like that you might have.
The Senate bends over for Roland Burris, Obama's inauguration balances out its anti-gay with some gay, sensitive Putin lets the people freeze, and we chat about what interesting things you'll find on the DWATG podcast feed over the next three weeks.
